WITH RECEIVER PARTS. Cal. N/A. S# 5378. Bbl. N/A. Model 1886 receiver mfg. by Winchester. Receiver has been nicely engraved, featuring single line bordered panels of foliate vine type scrollwork on the sides and over the chamber, with a large scene of a mountain goat engraved on the left, and a smaller circular portrait of a buck engraved on the right. Spring cover base features double line borders and a small section of foliate scrollwork, with the screw slot featuring a floral pattern around its circumference. Lower receiver tang is marked with Winchester's 2-line patent information, followed by the S#. Metal components have been cleaned in-the-white. Receiver is accompanied by an assortment of parts, including the bolt, extractor, hammer, loading gate, spring cover base, both locking bolts, trigger, lever, as well as a small assortment of screws. CONDITION: metal components retain a bright appearance, exhibiting some scattered spots and small patches of light to mild pitting overall. An attractive custom engraved Winchester Model 1886 action.
